Please send some order at once in the case of the horses of the First Ohio Cavalry. Nearly every officers in this division is riding public horses. To require to be turned in would interfere with a move. Cannot some order be obtained requiring the horses to be valued and the amount to be stopped on pay accounts? Have you heard any think of the Eighth Illinois Cavalry, and is the balance of the regiment to join me?
