moving yesterday up the turnpike from Fairfax toward Centerville. The First Corps was at Haymarket last night, and this is unmistakably a column of infantry advancing up the pike in this direction. As my supplies are entirely out and it seems impossible to get them, am compelled to fall back to the Rappahannock to supply my men. My horses have fared tolerably wel except for shoeing. I will be on the Warrenton Springs road.
