GENERAL: The brigadier-General commanding directs that, in case you do not receive further orders, you will move your division to-morrow morning, at 5 o'clock, to Sandersville.

GENERAL: I am directed by the general commanding to say that the First Division has met the enemy's cavalry at this point. He wishes to inform you that in your camp to-night you will have to extend your own picket-line, so as to protect your own division and trains.

Commanding Third Division:

GENERAL: The general commanding directs that you encamp your division to-night just on the east side of Buffalo Creek, covering the bridge. In the absence of further orders, he directs that you march, at an early hour in the morning, to Sandersville. He also directs that you give all needed assistance to the pontoon train, bringing it forward with your division to-morrow morning. The bridge can be taken up as soon as your rear has passed.
