COLONEL: The major-general commanding the district directs that you immediately order the troops of your command (except First Colorado and Ninth Wisconsin Batteries) to the same posts and stations occupied by them before the commencement of the campaign. You will direct the commencement of the campaign. You move their commands with the last possible delay. Orders will be given direct from these headquarters to the commanding officers of the First Colorado and Ninth Wisconsin Batteries.
