The within reck mmendations of General Potter, that Lieutenant- Colonel Carmichael, One hundred and fifty-seventh New York Volun- teers, and Lieutenant-Colonel Haughton, Twenty-fifth Ohio Volunteers, be promoted to be colonels by brevet, are heartily indorsed.
