Hazen reports further movements of enemy at Chattanooga and Thatcher's Ferry, with great activity in throwing up rifle-pits and clearing ground for batteries, as if expecting us to attempt to cross. He thinks the larger portion of the enemy was at Kingston when we first arrived at the river. Designate some word to use for the general's name in cipher dispatches.
