Today in History:

April 24, 1863

On April 1, 1863, myself--Wm. Heyser, and my brother-in-law, Barnard Wolf, presented a set of communion and baptismal service to the church as a token of our deep love and devotion. We do not think this gift out of place as we are the two oldest members left. The consistory acknowledged the reception of so costly and elegantly finished service, with appropriate remarks for the donors.
