GENERAL: The following dispatch has just been received from General Hartranft:

I have the honor to report that during the flag of truce this afternoon I turned over to the enemy 120 dead and 15 badly wounded (the latter were between the lines), for which I hold a receipt from General Gordon's adjutant-general. I also furnished a list of the names f the rebel wounded and captured officers to General Lewis (rebel). A like list of captured Federal officer was to be furnished by the enemy, but was not made out in time. It is to be sent over in the morning, together with our wounded, if any, in their hands.

The following are the casualties of the day, as near can be ascertained: First Division-killed, 30; wounded, 137; missing, 481. Third Division-killed, 34; wounded, 186; missing, none. Total, killed, 64; the prescribed form will be forwarded in the morning.
