Dedication Day Relocating

 

Dedication Day Relocating to Gettysburg College Union Ballroom Due to
Inclement Weather; Live Stream on YouTube

               

The Dedication Day Program on November 19, scheduled for the Soldiers’
National Cemetery, is relocating to the Gettysburg College Union
Ballroom, 242 W. Lincoln Avenue, and will begin at 10:00 a.m.  Doors
open to the public at 8:30 a.m.

Garrison Keillor, author, storyteller, humorist, and radio personality,
will be the featured speaker and the program will also include a
naturalization of 16 new citizens by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration
Services (USCIS).  USCIS will live stream the ceremony starting at 10
a.m. EST on November 19 on YouTube

The video will also be available, on-demand, later that day.

Since the campus has limited parking, Freedom Transit will be offering
transportation from the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and
Visitor Center Parking Lot #3 to the College Campus starting at 8:30
a.m.  Local bus service is also available from many of the local
hotels.  Limited handicapped parking is available on W. Lincoln Avenue.
