The losses of the Cavalry Corps at Cold Harbor, May 31 and June 1, and of the Sixth Corps and detachment Army of the James at the same place, June 1, are included. The casualties if the First and Second Divisions, Cavalry Corps, up to June 6 only are embodied. During the remainder of the period covered by the tables these divisions were detached on an expedition. Only such organizations as reported losses are given in this table.
