General Hood desires you to have your command under arms and in readiness to move at a mom ent's notice. He has ordered the cavalry to move down Peach Tree Creek. General Stevenson reports that he now occupied the enemy's works, and is pressing forward his scouts.

General Hood desires you to hold your command in readiness to move by the left at moment's notice.

You will please move your command at dark, by the left flank, to occupy the position now occupied by General Stevenson.

The enemy are reported to have withdraw on the Marietta road.

General Hood desires you to push your cavalry down Peach tree Creek, and report such information as you may procure.

Brigadier-General JACKSON, Commanding Cavalry:

General Hood directs me to say that the enemy have disappeared from the front of the militia and Steward's right. He desires your command to be on the alfred, and if attacked at any point to make as stubborn resistance as possible.

General Hood desires you to direct Armstrong to press forward his cavalry in on enemy's right, to ascertain what is going on. Enemy has given up his works on our right.
