2. The senior officer present for duty with the companies of the Eighth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Cavalry, mustered into the U. S. service and now at Camp Dennison, Ohio, will see that the companies are immediately equipped for the field, and as soon as possible proceed with them, marching across the country to Lexington, Ky., and report for duty to Major General G. Granger, commanding the Army of Kentucky.
