III. Colonel Zahm, commanding Third Ohio Cavalry, is directed to march, via Bardstown, New Haven, and Munfordville, to Bowling Green.

IV. The batteries under command of Captains Mendenhall, Bidwell, Sutermeister, and Sterling are hereby attached temporarily to the First Division, Brigadier-General Thomas commanding, and will proceed under his orders up the Cumberland.
