ORDERS. HEADQUARTERS TWENTIETH CORPS,

Near Eatonton, GA., November 20, 1864.

This corps will march to-morrow toward Milledgeville, through Eatonton, as follows: Colonel Hughes' mounted infantry at 4. 30 a. m. ; Third Division at 5 a. m. ; Second Division train at 6 a. m. ; First Division at 7 a. m.

General Ward will march one unencumbered brigade in advance. The balance of his command will be distributed along his train and that of the Second Division, covering half of the latter.

General Jackson will march one brigade in rear of the entire train, the balance of his command being distributed along his train and the latter half of the train of the Second Division.

The pontoon train will march in rear of the Second Division train, starting at 6. 30 a. m. The trains of Captain Schoeninger and Captain Bickford will march in rear of the Third Division train, starting at 5. 30 a. m. The artillery will be distributed in the column the same as in the order for the march of to-day.

ORDERS.] HDQRS. FIRST DIVISION, TWENTIETH CORPS,

Near Eatonton, GA., November 20, 1864.

This division will march to-morrow at 7 a. m., in the following order: The Second Brigade in advance, to be distributed along the rear half of Second Division train, the pontoon train, and twenty-five wagons of First Division train; the First Brigade to follow, to be distributed along the remainder of First Division train. The commanding officers of these brigades will require their commands to give all necessary assistance to the wagons. The Third Brigade will form the rear guard, preceded by a battery. The report of effective force will be required to-morrow.
