"Report exclusive of special report: There have passed of Battery 5, going toward enemy's, two trains of seven coaches, and the number of the other we could not count, and thirty-five wagons. Five hundred men of the Fifteenth [New York] Engineers have been ordered to report to you immediately, under Major Slosson, also 75 men from the Michigan sharpshooters, and 125 from the Maine Sharpshooters.
