HDQRS. FIRST DIVISION, EIGHTEENTH ARMY CORPS,
October 31, 1864.

The following disposition of the troops of the division will be immediately made: The First and Third Brigades will hold the line form the right of Fort Harrison to where the right of the Third Brigade now rests. Lieutenant-Colonel Raulston will move the regiments of his brigade, now in the fort, to their position in the line, relieving the Second Brigade. Colonel Cullen's brigade will be held in reserve, and will go into camp near the woods in front of these headquarters. The position of his camp will be indicated by a staff officer.
