I. Colonel Curtis' line will extend from the river to Battery Numbers 5, and include the present picket-line occupied by his brigade.

II. Lieutenant-Colonel Washburn, Fourth Massachusetts Cavalry, will report for duty to Colonel Curtis with his command without delay.
