The following officers are announced as the staff of the major-general commanding this military division. They will be obeyed and respected accordingly: Lieutenant Colonel John T. Sprague, acting assistant adjutant-general and chief of staff; Major General Alfred Pleasanton, chief of cavalry and artillery; Brigadier General T. C. H. Smith, inspector-general; Colonel T. J. Haines, chief commissary; Lieutenant Colonel Fred. Myers, chief quartermaster; Major J. F. Meline, aide-de-camp, judge-advocate; Captain Jos. McC. Bell, assistant adjutant-general; Captain M. Norton, assistant adjutant-general; Colonel C. A. Morgan, aide-de-camp; Captain E. Haight, aide-de-camp.

7. Upon the arrival of the Forty-ninth Wisconsin at East Saint Louis the regiment will immediately disembark from the cars and proceed without delay to Benton Barracks, Mo. The commanding officer of the regiment will report at the earliest practicable moment at these headquarters for further orders.
