XXII. Such of the men belonging to the Third, Seventeenth, Twenty-second, Twenty-third, Twenty-fifth, Twenty-sixth, Twenty-seventh, Twenty-eighth, and Thirty-first Regiments Louisiana Volunteers, paroled at Vicksburg and Port Hudson, as have gone on furlough to West Louisiana, will be reassembled at Alexandria, La., under the supervision of Brigadier General H. W. Allen.

McCulloch to the command of the Northern Sub-District of Texas, and also inform him that he will be placed in command of the conscripts of that sub-district. Colonel Bankhead has been ordered to re-enforce General Steele.
