The commanding general directs that the Fourteenth Pennsylvania Cavalry and First West Virginia Cavalry, dismounted, be sent here to the Remount Camp. Also send the ordnance stores for the Fourteenth Pennsylvania, consigned to Lieutenant- Colonel Blakely.

I intend starting to Loudoun in a few minutes to arrest rebel citizens and hold them, on account of the rebels arresting the customhouse agent at this place. This by order of the provost- marshal at this place.
