GENERAL: The major-general commanding directs that you move your brigade back to Saltville. Move at daylight to-morrow. As soon as you shall determine your camp you will please report the location of your troops, your own headquarters, and hereafter report any changes of opposition you may make. Take measures to obtain a supply of corn at your camp to-morrow night.
