Move forward to Brandy Station, connecting with the Third Corps on your left. Leave Shaler's brigade to guard trains and bridges.

The major-general commanding requests that you will send to the front and ascertain the probable force and position of the enemy near Brandy Station. General Warren, at Thorn's Hill, reports that the enemy are probably concentrating at Brandy Station.
