Colonel R. W. RATLIFF,

The general directs that your order Colonel S. B. Brown to call in his detachments and move at once with his whole mounted force to Mount Sterling.

(Received 12 m.)

I have no troops available to re-enforce them.

S. P. HEINTZELMAN,

Major-General.
