Raining. At home all afternoon writing my diary. Mrs. Geo. Wolff called to have me speak to her husband about his dissipation. I spoke with him, however, the effort must be made by him to end his intemperate ways. Talk of "winding" up our bank, now that we are in a position to do so. I fear there are some greedy stockholders behind this, more to set up for themselves.
