On 27th of April last General Rosecrans reported that between the 1st of December and that date the Army of the Cumberland had received from Department of the Ohio, captured or purchased, 18,450 horses and 14, 607 mules; that he had on hand on the 23rd March 19, 164 horses and 23,859 mules.

Report immediately the number of each received since that date, and the number on hand with the army or in depot at last reports, with dates.
