ABOUT ONLINE SCHOOLS

Eric Hoffer, an award winning social writer and philosopher of the 20th century once said:

The central task of education is to implant a will and facility for learning; it should produce not learned but learning people. The truly human society is a learning society, where grandparents, parents, and children are students together.

And that is the type of site we are aiming to create, where people of all ages can come together to learn about things that interest them. Our goal is to produce learning people: people who hunger and thirst after knowledge. And in doing so, we recognize that there are primarily two forms of learning: formal and informal.
