School is boring-i would know, i'm 13 in the 7th grade  - but it is necesary if you want to go to college and have a good life when you grow up. I dont exactly get straight A's, but thats only because I got sick of prople expecting me to be the best at everything. I had straight A's kindergarden through 5th grade, but thats when people stated expecting it and now i dont feel like doing my school work anymore.

I barely understood a word you said - but I'll tell you why we go to school. Theoretically, we're supposed to learn. That's not how it works out, though. The reason we have to attend school is so that liberals can indoctrinate us, teach us that we mutated from ooze into fully-fuctioning human beings with emotions, conscience, and communication, and pass out contraceptives. When they fail miserably at education, they simply say that we need to throw more money at the schools (the New York City school system can attest to the fallacy of this argument). That's right. If a system fails, don't modify it. Just throw more money into it. And if you oppose this, you're just a greedy buffoon.
Now, the President wants to increase hours in school, start it even earlier (like his Zero-to-Five idea), and teach (indoctrinate) kindergartners about certain matters that ought to be taught to be at home.

This is why we have to go to school.

If you want some background and history of "why we have to go to school" go here:
(hint: it has nothing to do with learning)

You can read "The Underground History of American Education" on line free here:

Recently I heard on my radio a sort-of speech by Neal Boortz that described education and how public (government) schools got started. I don't agree with him on everything, but he got this dead on.

I'm not sure if there's any way to find and read it, but it was called 'My Address to Schoolchildren' by Neal Boortz.

It was great.
