Hello All,
After reading the September issue of America's Civil War magazine, I came across an article that has surfaced again. A cardiologist wants to conduct a DNA sample from the pillowcase that President Lincoln was lying on at the time of his death.
It seems like this will most likely be allowed but under the direction of the Museum of Health and Medicine in Washington DC.
Do you, the members of this forum believe this should be done and take a risk on damaging this historic artifact, or should it be left alone?
The cardiologist believes that Lincoln was suffering from a rare type of cancer at the time of his death.:(
