here in oklahoma people pro-south lean towards Stand watie, but in my opinion, i think Robert e. lee and 'Stonewall' Jackson would be at the top.

I think they all were effective generals and a case could be made for each, but I think ultimately it comes down to either Jackson or Lee.

My personal opinion has always been that if Jackson had survived, he would have gone down in history as a greater general than Lee...
