Savannah GA before the war

Hey everyone, I am researching Savannah GA prior to the war and immediately after Sumter, etc. I have a few good books like "Saving Savannah" but I am surprised how few good sources are out there.

I am writing a supernatural historical novel featuring an Irish Catholic family. The tentative title is "Blood of My Brothers".

I would appreciate any comments on this and any recommendations on good source material.

Here are a few places to start. You can google Antebellum Georgia, Pre-Civil War Georgia, or visit Savannah and go to some museums and talk to their curators for research on your book. I advise you not to write a book without doing adequate research. You should end up with at least 3 or 4 times more research material than you plan to use.
