No, the experiments at CERN are to find the fundamental components of matter and particle interactions. Also, they want to see how mass comes about in the universe (i.e. why does an electron have mass for example-postulated to come from Higgs field). They will also be looking for particle interactions that do not fit within current theories of particle physics but may support theories like string theory.
