New to this website

I have just this week joined this website. I am looking forward to some interesting discussions. I am from Arkansas, very interested in the Civil War. To the young man going to Gettysburg this summer as a reenactor, I am jealous. I was in Washington D.C. a couple of years ago and took a tour of Gettysburg. We went through the battlefield in about two hours. I really wanted to see Devil's Den because the 3rd Arkansas ( Hood's Division) was there. The bus drove past Devil's Den and we stopped at the top of Little Round Top. I am trying to convince my wife (My Commanding Officer)
to take a week-long study/walking tour of Gettysburg. I'm still not sure a week would be enough to take it all in.
