New to the forum

Hi all-

I'm a newbie to the forum. Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Matt, I am 41 years old, born and raised in Michigan. My mom was a Civil War buff, and somewhere along the line it rubbed off on me. I am a bit opinionated, (a little reading on the forum gives me the impression that I am not alone in that characteristic, lol) and love lively debate, even though I usually get slaughtered. I welcome any replies and private messages. Anyhow, thanks for having me here, and creating a neat forum.

Welcome, I myself am new here. I am in Ohio, and interested in chatting about the Civil War, even with someone from Michigan.
