Crossed Sabers, a website focusing on the cavalry in the United States, primarily oriented on the Regular cavalry regiments during the Civil War. Will feature biographical sketches, discussions of engagements, unit histories, letters, journals, and a database of those who served in the regiments during the Civil War.

A new article on this already excellent website links to back issues of the excellent publication "Civil War Regiments: A Journal of the American Civil War." Among the various titles on the back issues site are issues on Gettysburg, the Red River Campaign, Chickamauga & Chattanooga, and others. The articles’ authors include many experts in their respective fields, as well as some I was unfamiliar with. The journal looks like an excellent product, and one or more back issues will likely be of interest to readers.
