God bless you Charge O' Glory. Scott, thats the golden rule. ask the people in your group what you need, they will help you, I guarentee it. If they dont, Ill buy everything you will need! Reenactors for the most part are some of the best and kindest people you will ever know. Dont be scared to ask, I was and Ive literly paid for it. Ive only been doing this for about 5 years and Ive spend alot of money on non correct things and cheap stuff. But Ive got it all taken care of now. Reenacting is expencive, I wont lie, but it can be cheaper if you research and ASK about things you want. Also, this is a hobby that takes alot of time to learn about and you will study alot about how the men walked, talked, ate, sang, drank, and pretty much every aspect of their lives. So, just get with someone in the group your joinin, and get some help. You think you may know what you need, but chances are you really dont.

P.S. If they dont help you, its a really bad group and I suggest you look somewhere else. I also take it that your from South Carolina, so I wont try to recruit you for the N.W. 15th Arkansas. Good luck friend, and Welcome! |
