you know I am the same way, The confederates were tired of being pushed around and all they asked was to be let alone. Most of them wondered why the yankees wouldnt just go on live the way they wanna live and let the confederates live the way they want to, live and let live some folks say |

| Hello. My name is Frankie and I am a 42 year old New Yorker living in Florida. I have been interested in the Civil War era since junior high school. I have read books on many of the major players and atlases of the war in general. I am currently reading Shelby Foote's 'The Civil War: A Narrative'. I am currently taking classes to obtain a B.S. degree in history so I can become a teacher. |
