Is anyone else tired of the cruel people on here who discriminate against those who don't believe what they do? _________________ "I want you to prove yourselves. The eyes of thousands will look on what you do tonight." -Col. Robert Gould Shaw, 54th Mass. Inf. |

Just ignore it Cog. People can use forums to let off steam. I think it is unfortunate if people get personal unless it's in a light hearted way because no-one knows you or has a clue about your good intentions. So if you start copping the broadsides just don't go there.Ýou just get deeper embroiled the more you fight back.
Having said that, challenging people is important as long as it is done sensitively and rationally. And it is good to be challenged. But name-calling belongs in the play-pen. It says more about ther name-caller than it does about you! Hang in there. |

I must say, this is the most hostile forums I have been in. Name calling, not listening to the other side, and other such things show that most of the people on here are just on here to pick a fight. I bet if you were there face to face with them, they wouldn't say a thing. _________________ Formerly southern_belle1861

Yeah, I used to just fight back with them, but I never got personal. After there was an insult against my family though, I just decided to be mature and let them look silly. _________________ "I want you to prove yourselves. Good idea. I mean I'm 14 and know they're acting childish. Now what does that tell you? _________________ Formerly southern_belle1861

I am one of those guys who will fight for what he believes in, but I wouldn't say a thing about someone's family. Your only supposed to talk about the civil war here.
I would still fight face-to-face with someone, no matter if their bigger, stronger, or tougher, I will always be more inspired and motivated. _________________ The Confederacy will prevail |

Yes. I don't mind if someone bashes me or my religion but, if you are attacking someone because of being in a certain family; that is just uncalled for. _________________ A stupid man can never give more then a simple explanation of what a genius said. - Adam Harmon (who happens to be me)
