I am beginning a research writing class next week at University of Phoenix and I have chosen the Civil War as my research subject. In looking at this site I hoe it will help me.

I too am new to this site. Over the last several years I have become interested in the history of the American Civl War. I have visited the Civil War Museum in New Orleans, and also the battlefield of New Orleans in Oct. 2008. My wife and I also vacationed in Richmnond in 2005, and visited many Civil War sites there. Last week I finished reading the National Geographic Book "Eyewitness to the Civil War" and now I am hooked and have nobody in my circle of friends to talk about it with. I would love to chat about it.

hi there i am new to this site and i think the us civil war is a very good subject to research in my internet folder i have loads of civil war sites. go rangers fc!

Yes I am doing report's for civil war and there battles well as historty. I just happen to run into this site, and I think its wonderful. I will always stay active to the forums, and hope they will add more info couple months everytime. Well I hope you get good info, I already have so I will tell others about this site.
