New Market is one of my favorite battles, It was previous vice president John c. Breckenridge vs. German born Franz Sigel..... The story is truly amazing, especially the cadets from VMI that marched from Lexington to save the day and assure a confederate victory (the best part about the cadets role is learning their individual stories) some other interesting things are, "The field of Lost Shoes," and the Bushong Farm
