Does anyone on this site (besides me) support the Union? Does anyone else want to wear the Blue instead of the Grey? Or is this site a bunch of supporters of the Confederacy and one lonely believer in Ol' Glory? (Sorry if that sounds mean, but I mean it nicely of course. We're all friends here, no matter who we side with!)
Btw, is there still nothing that can be done about all the spam on here lately? It's getting worse and worse everyday. I really want to do something about it, but I don't know what to do. Anyone care to help me out with this? _________________ "I want you to prove yourselves. The eyes of thousands will look on what you do tonight." -Col. Robert Gould Shaw, 54th Mass. Inf. |

CoG....
you got my sincere condolence
me, myself i am trying to be neutral.
well with that spam - it became a real horror here.
the only one who can do something against it is the webmaster, he should establish a secure forum.
it is not that easy and even he cannot totally avoid that these boneheads post their trash here.
i will send a note to the contact here that is given. _________________ "An evening where all attendends are agreed, is a lost evening"

well my friend, I can say that I am a true BLUE I support the union all the way. I just dont say to much in here because I dont think I'd stand to well of a chance debating about this subject in here. Some of the people in here know (or think they know) so much about the wbts that its like they were really there fighting in the war!! I'm not gonna say any names but theirs a couple of real smart as*es in here that think they know everything there is to know, and believe me if I could I'd put them in there place but like I said before I cant debate. But man I love it when one of us yankees puts a reb in their place!! |

I'm really happy to finally see some Northern support! I know what you mean about the others. They know more about it than me too. I try to stay out of the lengthy debates 'cause I know I can't keep up. But hopefully someday we'll be able to show 'em up! _________________ "I want you to prove yourselves. I'm a Yankee, and I really struggle to understand the point of view of the other side.
I think it's important to keep an open mind, and while I have to admit that I buy and read more pro-Union books, I still read books with a Southern point of view, except for DiLorenzo. I have heard too much about his hatefulness toward the North, and his inaccurate claims, to have any interest in what he has to say.
I believe that whatever one's bias may be, a fair and accurate assessment is that both sides fought for what they believed in; they fought hard, and they were honorable men. |
